I have always been a fan of the german cars, and I have driven probably all of them from Audi, VW, BMW, Opel, Mercedes to Porsche, but I always thought that the BMW is superior to the Audi, in terms of handling, design and speed. In this picture, you can see the 2008 BMW M3 riding behind the Audi S6.
As much as I want to like the Audi, I just could never get into the round-shape body frame. I have to admit that even the new BMW cars have more rounded-shapes than before, but it’s still no near the Audi. Of course, some might say that I’m a little biased since I’m writing this on a BMW blog, but I am just a car lover, and especially a german car lover, and I have no problem switching from a brand to another one, as long as I like what I see or what I drive.
Now let the comments start
Let me know what you think.

/b> R8 down a notch There are those who can never be satisfied with near perfection. Kicherer just couldn’t leave well enough alone, and just had to go and improve Audi’s new supercar, the R8. And this is why I like the BMW more than the Audi I have always been a fan of the german cars, and I have driven probably all of them from Audi, VW, BMW, Opel, Mercedes to Porsche, but I always thought that the BMW is superior to the Audi, in terms of handling, design and speed.
Yeah, I’m the in terms of German cars and switching and, for full disclosure, I own a B6 S4 and B7 A4. Where I disagree is with the Bangle Bimmers; they suck. The new M5 trunk and tail … I just can’t get past it. And the headlights look like Pepe LePew’s girlfriend. And then there’s the minimalist interiors! Wow do THEY SUCK!
The new 3s are better, and I could maybe buy a 330ci or the new M3.
The new A6 line is no better – pure suckage. The 4 series and 8 series are pretty good though.
MB got it right with the new C class IMO, but the rest kinda suck design-wise.
Overall it’s not a good time for German design.
