I have just found this video on youtube. The footage shows the upcoming BMW M3 coupe sitting in a garage and some guys are playing on a simulator.
Inside the M3 they have a projector and the image is displayed on the windshield while the guys are using the steering wheel and shifter to race.
Pretty cool especially since you don’t have to worry about scratching your brand new BMW M3.
It would be really cool if we would get to see this at the Auto Shows. I’m sure the lines will be very long but it will be a great experience and great marketing for BMW.

1I think this is no garage but a location at a 5 star hotel in Marbella (Spain), where BMW had the International Media Launch for the M3 E 92. The Simulator is a Part of the Launch Packet and will be displayed at the IAA Show as well. As the new M3 the Simulator is unique because it has a integrated Motion System. It pitches and rolls like a real car in real driving situations…awesome

2Bimmer, I think you’re right, I heard the same thing that it was shot in Spain after the Media Official Launch
