I prefer the Old body Style of the 6 Series better than the new one. As Arthur said above This BMW look like the Overweight for a 3 Series.
I am greatfull to BMW because they will make our Old 6 Series Looking like a Bomb cars.
So I am enjoying My 2009 650 Convertible the best I can until BMW will re-design the 2011 6 Series.

This reminds me of BMW’s attempt to redesign the 2004 740 which was a total disaster. I own a 2006 650 convertible. I would definitely pass this one by. I dont know how they can one day design the Z8 and then take a winner like the 650 and not evolve it.

Sorry, but I LOVE my 6! Black over Imola red with 20″ Beyern rims. Serious head-turner! It’s my 5th. Bimmer, and it’s my fave even over my e46 M3. This new one, as it’s depicted here, is a cure for insomnia. It’s because of Bangle’s design that makes this current 6 such a hot car. The new design for all of the cars is too tame. They all look alike; this new 6 looks ( especially from the rear ) like the 3 series.
Maybe when I see the new one in person I may feel differently, but for now it looks like I’ve got a keeper!

What a joke BMW has become. Vanity cars. This car is oversized and not even attractive. $80,000? Are you kidding me? For what? 0-60 in 5.5 and lousy gas mileage. BMW has really lost it. Their engine technology is trailing edge. Soon, the wil have two turbos in everything. Better lease. You don’t want to own those puppies a after 60,000 miles of hard driving.

I was afraid that my current 6-series would look old, and crappy after 2011 however, I’m keeping my 2009 6 series soft-top.
If I was a Honda lover i would purchase this new Accord coupe version.
Note: Sorry this is not a BMW 6-series anymore.

I have a 6 2005, I was waiting to see the new one. The only thing that I can say it’s yaacccckkkk. It is awful, I will get the new Maserati GT. It is beautiful, I have a BMW since 1989 they are reducing quality, specially in the interior. The materials used are cheap. Well it was nice the 20 year relationship, this is not the BMW spirit.

I love it compared to the last version. It is much cleaner, and doesn’t have that awkward looking trunk line. BMW will never be able to match the original 6 series design of the 80′s, (one of the most beautiful cars in my opinion) but this is miles ahead of the last version.

I wish the 2011 6 series convertible was out now. I’m currently in the market for a convertible in that class but have immediately eliminated the current 6 series convertible from my consideration. I think it is truly hideous. The new one looks like an enormous improvement.
