They will release the new M6 with the same 507hp as the current generation?? Why would the 2011 M5 supposedly be getting 550hp and the new M6 stay at 507?? Besides, read the reports of numerous M5/M6 owners on M5Board.com and see that VERY few if ANY, actually get 507hp....more like around 455-485hp.....

I suspect that when the new M6 comes out it will have the same HP as the new M5, since they share the same motor....eh???

The possibility that the rear passengers will have more space is also enticing and very much needed.....otherwise, the 6 Series (in any iteration) is basically a strictly 2-person car....

Cheers,

I own a 6, and I like how it looks. This is a step backwards. I've come to like how the trunk on the 6 series looks like. The front of the current 6 is much better than what's rendered here. Hopefully they next iteration will just make slight aliterations to the basic 6 design.

I like how they plan to lengthen the wheelbase to give more leg room for rear passengers. I'm hoping, however, they don't increse overall length of the car. Any longer and it would be too long. Plus the car needs to go on a serious diet. Like it could stand to lose another 300 lbs somewhere.
