BMW car dealers are participating in the 11th Annual BMW Ultimate Drive this month.
The eight-month event, which began in March, is designed to give local residents the opportunity to join the fight against breast cancer by test driving a specially decorated silver BMW, officials with BMW of North America said in a news release.
For every mile driven in the cars, $1 will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the nation?s largest source of nonprofit funds to the fight breast cancer, the release said.
The goal is to drive 1 million miles and raise $1 million.
