BMW does not honor they're warrenty! I have a 2005 X3 with approx 20k miles... Here is the list of problems I’m dealing with: - Last winter I had to charge the battery myself several times when the temps got below zero. One particular day it took until 5pm to get it going. It was pretty frustrating to deal with on a ‘New’ vehicle. -Many weird problems with it when battery was going down the tubes, it finally had to be towed to the dealer because I didn’t trust driving it there. -Power window constantly freeze up in the winter. -Wipers were junk after one winter season. -Squirters freeze up due to bad design. -Rotors were & are delaminated, rusty & warped at 16k miles. -Calipers and/or rotors are freezing together nightly when below 32 degrees. I have to wrestle with it in the morning back & forth in the driveway to break them free. -Tires seem to have excessive wear for the miles. They seem to brake free easily adding to my distrust of the car to stay on the road. -Car is very noisy in front end. Are the bearings going bad or is it just brake noise due to wobbling rotors? -02/29/2008. -20 degrees. Car Wouldn’t Start. Battery doesn’t have Green Light for full charge.
